EpiChicken represents a comprehensive effort to map the multi-dimensional epigenetic architecture in chickens. Utilizing high-resolution, multi-tissue datasets including ATAC-seq, ChIP-seq, Hi-C, DNA methylation, and single-cell omics, the project aims to establish integrated regulatory maps that link epigenetic variation to complex traits in poultry. This foundational atlas deciphers how the chicken "regulome" dictates production performance, providing a strategic roadmap for epigenetic-based selective breeding and enhancing the utility of chickens as a model organism in biomedical research.
